The International Maritime Web Awards seek to encourage maritime education on the internet and our free awards system is open to all who provide non-commercial websites with free access to all, that either focusses on some historical aspect of the maritime past, or on contemporary shipping matters. Although the awards are completely free, they are not freely handed out to anyone who applies and serious judging criteria are applied to every application.
